Opportunities
Recitals: 2-3 recitals per year.
Certificate of Merit Program: Yearly evaluations at UCSC. Students work toward a medallion & play in county recitals. Looks great on a college application!
Teaching Guidance: Heather has helped many of her students become piano teachers.
 Lesson Details
I offer weekly private lessons at $25 per 30 minutes and $40 per 45 minutes.
 Specialties
I am passionate about music and love to teach! I have a great time looking for new and fun music for my students. I offer 2-3 recitals per year, participation in the Certificate of Merit Program, and expertise in note reading, theory, and technique. Students also get to record their playing onto personal CD's to create yearly collections!
 Education
I have been teaching piano for 15 years and work with all levels ages 4-adult. I was classically trained by Professor Lenora Brown and Dr.Gwendolyn Mok, both concert pianists. I am a member of the Music Teacher’s Association of California and received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah. I have extensive performing experience and have placed in several piano competitions. I was a soloist performing Mozart’s Triple Piano Concerto with the Brigham Young University’s Chamber Orchestra in 1993.
